Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
During the thanksgiving season I sometimes feel silly listing all the “things” I’m thankful for. Expressing gratitude for your gifts, blessings and successes is important. (So if you are doing this, keep doing it. I’m in no way trying to discourage you.)
But I was thinking about the many people who go without. People who can’t say, thank you for this roof over my head, because they live on the street. Or the person who can’t say, I’m grateful for my family because they don’t have one or their family is distant, unkind or even abusive.
What can these people be thankful for?
And what can I be thankful for besides all the “things”?
